We offer three preventative maintenance services plus bespoke repair, replacement or upgrade options to cover specific components or systems
All work begins with a discussion to understand the specifics of your bike and any mechanical issues you have experienced.
Our services are optimised to ensure your bike is maintained to the standards set out by Cytech, the recognised international standard for cycle technicians. Regular servicing is strongly advised to ensure your bike continues to function correctly and to prevent premature failure of components
We can service / repair all bike types and brands - we endeavour to service and repair any bike type or brand. Replacement parts can be a challenge but we will always attempt to source an original component or offer a like for like alternative. For e-bikes we can service mechanical parts only.
Some on-line only and factory direct brands such as YT and Canyon do not provide product support to independent bikes shops and may not honour warranties if we service or repair your bike. For this reason our service for online only / factory direct bikes is currently limited to tune up services only.

Or you can book a service by calling us on 01327 437020. We are committed to providing quality workshop services, do not over commit our workshop and don't store bikes. So we can only accept bikes for service that have been pre-booked.
For minor repairs like a puncture, please call in anytime with your wheel and we will be happy to help.
We aim to turnaround a standard service within 1 day but this will depend on availability of any replacement parts required. For our Full Service please allow 3-5 days. We can usually advise any potential extended time needed at hand over. We will not complete any additional work or replace parts without obtaining your approval. Prior to completion we will inform you of the final costs. Unless you tell us you want them back, we will responsibly dispose of replaced parts.
We wash all bikes (using our smart washer) as part of our standard services but to assist us to focus on servicing your bike, please at least hose pipe the mud - or worse- off before you hand it over to us.
Collection & Drop Off
We understand that getting your bike to the workshop or collecting your bike can be a challenge. We all have busy lives, work, school runs and many other commitments to work around. We can provide collection and or drop off outside our normal shop hours (before 10am and after 5pm) for customers within 15 miles of our shop. Give us a call - we will do our best to accommodate.
Biological Smart Washer & Degreaser
Our workshop is equipped with a Rozone Smartwasher, a solvent free, biological degreasing solution that provides cleaning superior to other environmentally damaging methods. Our Smartwasher uses bacteria to breakdown oils and is the leading environmentally responsible solution to degreasing cycle components.
You can ride for your 1st year with no additional cost for routine preventative maintenance.
When you purchase your new bike from us we provide two free services, the initial service is recommended after 6 weeks use or 200 miles. During this time it is normal for cables to stretch and components to require a slight adjustment. A Tune-Up service (see below) is idea at this time to ensure the bike is operating correctly and any 'running-in' issues are corrected.
The second service should be scheduled at 6 months or earlier if you are riding regularly (at about 1000 miles). The second service will be our Main Service (see below).
We are passionate about the bikes we sell. All bikes sold are provided with life time 10% discount on all servicing and replacement components.
To keep it simple: 10% discount is provided on all servicing and any replacement components required during servicing or repair. The 10% is applied to the RRP and listed price for service and will be applied to any reductions, sales or promotions active at the time. In other words whatever the price listed in the shop, you will get a 10% discount.
